Structural Engineer
Dietrich Metal Framing is the largest
producer of metal framing and finishing products in the world with annual

Our Design Group, the nations largest such firm, seeks engineers to
design steel framing systems for commercial and residential buildings.
Framings systems typically include wall, floor and roof components.
More complex projects require whole building design for structures up
to 8 stories in height. Preferred candidates will have the opportunity
to rapidly progress to greater degrees of engineering responsibility
in a team leader role, with the eventual goal of obtaining a PE license
in the civil/structural field.
This position requires B.S. in Civil Engineering or Civil Engineering
Technology and the ability to analyze steel structures. The successful
completion of a steel, concrete, wood, aluminum, or similar building
material design course. The ability to prepare structural engineering
calculations. The ability to work in a team, and direct others in the
production of engineering drawings. Good written and verbal English
skills are also necessary.
